Mrs Majors was my mentor when I began teaching. She not only helped me but also my friends student teaching in other classrooms. She was such a good teacher and mentor. My condolences to her family. She was such a lovely person.

In addition to being a lovely person, Colleen Majors was a kind shoulder for new teachers to lean on at Stephen Girard Elementary School. We enjoyed sharing stories over the lunch table at school, and she helped me become a better teacher.
