Manuel Robert Garcia, fondly known and self-directed as (“Bob”), age 88, passed away on July 19, 2023, of natural causes. Bob was born on May 10th, 1935, to, fondly known and self-directed as James & Viola Garcia in Brooklyn, NY. Bob is survived by his brother Jimmy & wife Maureen and his 1st wife’s children Debbie & husband John {their daughter Nicole}, Bee Jay {granddaughter Deidra & husband Andres, grandson Andres}, Bob & wife Annie {grandson Ryan & wife Nicole, great granddaughters Ellie & Juliette, grandson Eric & wife Marissa, great grandsons Luca & Nico & son Gregory with great granddaughter Allison Wren}, Ken & wife Amy {grandson Michael & wife Raihan, daughter Samantha, great grandsons Willie and Max} Vikki & husband Vincent (grandsons Vinny & Partner Casey and Nicohlas & fiancée Kryss}, Adam, his wife Diane {grandson Jeremie and granddaughter Giada} his wife Linda and their children Karin {grandson Austin, granddaughter Jessica & husband Jon, great grandson Arron}, Kim & husband Ray (Krystal & husband David, great granddaughter Kaylee, grandsons Raymond and Shaun}, Dee & fiancée Jim (granddaughter Kyrstin and husband Vic, great granddaughter Giavonna, granddaughter Madison & grandson Cameron} sons Eric and Brian. To write that Bob lived his life the way he wanted to would be an understatement. Although his stature was slight, he was, to most, bigger than life. Always joking around, smiling and moving at a lightening pace. His abundance of his propensity to “horse around” was offset by his extreme lack of patience. In a similar fashion his ingenuity to figure things out was offset by his often abandon for trying to find out how things are supposed to work. In the end his family is most grateful for his influence on all of their lives and one of his most prominent attributes, his robust fertility.
