Obituary of Victor Manuel Hernandez, III

Victor M. Hernandez, III., 40, of Vineland formally of Camden, NJ died unexpectedly on October 9, 2023.
Victor was born on June 21,1983 to Norma Lopez his mother who loved him very much and Victor Hernandez Jr. his father(deceased) who loved him as well in Camden, NJ. His mother whom loved more than words could describe, married Luis Acevedo when he was very young child. He affectionately called him “Papi” or “Dad” and was raised by him as his own. Victor attended Camden Public Schools and was passionate about math and sports. After graduating school, remained a Camden resident for many years. He later moved to Vineland, NJ with his now fiancé of whom he loved and adored, Kareema Bentley. They were planning to purchase a home and wed in the near future. He was a father of seven children whom he loved to the moon and back. And would do anything in the world for them. He loved spending time with his children Leslie “Diva” Hernandez, Natalie “Nena/ Sugar Bear” Hernandez, Nathaniel “Lil Man” Bentley, Victor “Lil Vic” Hernandez IV., Geramy Hernandez, Victoria “Chu Chu/ Twin” Hernandez, and Nicolas “Baby Boy” Hernandez. Victor especially enjoyed his “Pop Pop time” with his four grandchildren he loved with all his heart Xavain “King” , Journey, Miracle, & Legend “Papito/PopPop” Cuchi.
Victor worked as a Licensed Lawn Pesticide Technician at Lawn Connection for a short length of time after twenty plus years of lawn care. In which he was especially skilled in all areas of the trade. He loved working outside and with his hands. And was a great provider. If you needed a favor or some work done, you definitely could call on him.
Victor also loved spending time with his family. From daily calls with mother to trips to the lake and everything in between. Anyone who knew Victor, knew that he was kind, loving, caring, warm, brilliant, awesome, dependable, and wonderful individual. And the list goes on. Victor had an immense passion for what he called “Bike Life”! In any of his spare time you find on the back of his bike and was sure to invite you to come ride. He would offer a lesson or two if you wanted to learn the sport. He was known for being well diversed in the sports world, being affectionately called, “ESPN” at times by his close friends and family. Victor was always a great source of positivity with those sparkling green eye and that dazzling smile that could steal anyone’s heart, but only one woman had his heart. He was a very happy person and loved a good laugh.
Victor’s family and friends will miss him dearly more than words can ever explain.
He is survived by his loving family, Grandmothers Margarita Velasquez and Carmen Rodriguez. Loving, caring, and devoted mother Norma Lopez and his father Luis Acevedo. His fiancé of almost fifteen years, Kareema Bentley. One brother, Frisco Hernandez of Cocoa, Florida. Seven children who he loved no matter what Leslie “Diva” Hernandez, Natalie “Nena/ Sugar Bear” Hernandez, Nathaniel “Lil Man” Bentley, Victor “Lil Vic” Hernandez IV., Geramy Hernandez, Victoria “Chu Chu/ Twin” Hernandez, and Nicolas “Baby Boy” Hernandez. Four Grandchildren he loved with all his heart Xavain, Journey, Miracle, & Legend Cuchi. Cousins who are like siblings to him Francisco “Macho” Castillo, June Cochran, Angelina “Chrissy” Del Valle. Five very close friends who he called his brothers Tommy Nunez, Marcus “Chink” Dockery, Gabriel “Gabby” Medina, Angel “Watchy” Cosme and Tremaine “Trey” Jones. And host of aunts, cousins, and friends who loved him.
He was proceeded in death by his Great Grandmother Dona Fela, Grandfather Hector Velasquez, Tio Angelo “Papo” Lopez, and Cousin Migdalia Lopez.
