Gloria was our mail carrier for many years. She was always so friendly and worked so hard for us here in Elkins Park. We appreciated her caring service. I was so surprised to hear she had passed. I knew I hadn't seen her for several weeks, but I was truly hoping she had retired as she mentioned she was considering in previous conversations. My last conversation with her was about the new van she driving on our route. We chatted about the things she liked and didn't like about it. Anytime I saw her in the neighborhood she would always wave. I know she's been welcomed into heaven with open arms as she was a lovely, shining angel here on earth. My best wishes and condolences to her friends, family and loved ones.

Everyone is blessed with a mother. I was so fortunate to be blessed with two. She was my godmother, mother, aunt and my friend. My heart is so heavy and broken right now words can't begin to explain the hurt i feel. You have always been in my corner. Every important or special event in my life you have been there. You have given me so much advice and wisdom on life, motherhood, and marriage. As i sit here cherishing our memories or moments i cry. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
Proverbs 31 : 10-31
Aunt Gloria was such an amazing woman. I see her as the virtuous woman mentioned in the bible. She lived a life of love through demonstration to her family, friends and even strangers along the way.
I will always remember and cherish the memories of spending summertime in her home. Her teaching us to cook, bake and shopping on a budget. At the family dinners, Aunt Gloria was always one of the first on the dance floor. Watching her dance was so much fun.
Aunt Gloria, my tears are still falling. I hoped that you could stay with me forever. But I understand, you couldn't. Thank you for being an example before me. I learned your lessons of wisdom. I will keep them close and continue the legacy of love ❤️.
I promise to be there for my cousins if they ever need to feel their mother's love. I love you, Aunt Gloria forever.

Aunt Yoyo there is so many memories. She was one of my number one supporter; anything I was involved in she was there to support me. I can recall numerous times that she had just got off of a long shift and she would still make sure she was there. I will miss and love you and your unconditional love and support.

She embodied the term "Life of The Party". I missed a lot of these moment being in the military and living a good distance away. But , I feel so blessed that she was able to live such a full and happy life with family that cherished her. I'm extremely saddened that she will no longer be able to make more memories with all the ones she loved. But to she through all of these pictures that she hardly spent a lonely or unhappy moment. Thank You all from the deepest part of my soul.

Oh Gloria, you were downright sunshine on a cloudy day. Your optimism was truly contagious and never failed to put a smile on everyone's face. You had such a zest for life and it was truly inspiring. I'll miss seeing that sparkle in your eyes. Rest easy, Aunt Gloria - your light will continue to shine bright in our hearts forever. These are the beautiful flowers in bloom in your backyard the day you left us (28 Holton Lane) . You have many beautiful gardens to take pictures of now. Rest in power.

I just wanted to share some happy memories with mom. She came to see her grandchildren often in Texas and we always had an amazing time. I’m so happy that we gave her all the love she deserved and her flowers while she was here. We will be forever grateful for the life she lived and love her for eternity. Thank you mom for EVERYTHING that you were and gave. ❤️

Aunt Gloria
You are going to be missed. From the first time we met you always made me feel like a part of the family. Every time you called you always said where’s my niece Jenn and how is she doing. I will always remember the time when me, you, Minnie and Carolyn Jean were playing pity pat while drinking lemon drops. And you and Minnie we’re getting on me because I kept giving Carol the Jack and she won 15 hands in a row. You and Minnie made me quit. I am laughing now thinking about that night. I will always remember you and all our inspiring conversations about life in general. You were a dancing queen. You loved to dance. Im also trying to figure out who is going to do the dishes like you always did. Love you Aunt Gloria. Sleep in Peace.

Aunt Gloria
I don’t know where to begin. Well here it goes. We hung out, partied together. I mean really partied. I babysat the twins and Chris( picked him up from daycare everyday). I was a bridesmaid in your wedding. Then I had my daughter Tasha. I asked Uncle Barry and Aunt Gloria to be my daughters godparents and they accepted. We decided to name her Natasha Christina after Chris….They both allowed Tasha to take over the house and their heart and be a small bully to Bobby and Tony. They both are the true definition of godparents. After being devastated by the news of you passing away. It has left me so confused hurt and even a little angry. But God chose you, I love you dearly. I’m so heartbroken because I lost my Aunt. My daughter lost her god-mom. But most importantly I lost my friend.

A sister is someone who loves you from the heart,
She is a joy that cannot be taken away,
Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.
A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A soul who fills your life with laughs and a smile,
These memories last for miles and miles. When she is by your side, the world is filled with life, When she is not around, your wonder why is there so much strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life.
A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.
With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.

Mom-mom's passing has left a big hole in the hearts of those who knew her infectious laughter and playful spirit. She embodied all the wonderful traits anyone could hope for in a loved one - kindness, love, selflessness and humor. She was always optimistic. Even when I wasn't. Even when I doubted myself and when I said that there were things "can't" do. She told me she hated when I used that word, because she never believed there was something I couldn't do. Thank you for believing in me Mom-mom. I'll never forget how she encouraged me to believe in myself, even when I didn't. Thank you, Mom-mom, for believing in me. I Love you Mom-mom. I will miss you.

We will never forget how you made us feel upon our first encountered meeting in Willingboro. You and I (Nita girl) as you called me , talked for hours about our love of gardening and you instructed me on just the right spot for my roses to be placed. 3 houses later and I still remember your fun, energetic instructions. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2nd Corinthians 5:8 reminds us of that, Now you Mrs.Gloria are witnessing the most Amazing Heavenly Flower Dispay Ever!! Our Sincere Condolences to The Family.

Gloria never met a stranger for after hello she had you.
My wife loved meeting people and connecting with them she was my angel right here on earth and I thank God for her, she could walk into room of people she didn’t know and in no time at they knew her it was just amazing. But my wife was absolutely amazing. I will miss her with every fiber of my being. My Heavenly Father called her for her work was done here.

I didn’t know how to sew. She said get a sewing machine. I didn’t know how to crochet, she said gets crochet needle and I will show you. She said get a house, I will show you how to plant beautiful flowers around it. She said once you get a husband, I will show you how to be a good wife. She never taught me how to live here without her when the time comes that she has to leave us behind.

I had to take a moment to stop crying so I could write clearly. Aunt Gloria, such a powerful, silent contributor in everyone’s life. Without her none of us would be writing in his book. She has a positive impact on everything she touches. Now that’s a powerful person. There’s nothing you can say to describe an angel. All I can say is that we’ve been touched by an angel. She left us with her intuitive development of our lives. There is no reason why she should not be here, but there are so many factors that impact our lives that we have no control over. If it was up to her righteousness, then she would live forever, Gloria and Barry may your family tree live forever. Yes, we make mistakes, but love overcomes everything.

This birthday will be my first birthday without my aunt. Me and my sister and Aunt Gloria celebrated our birthdays together. She was always fun and full of energy and she always tried to make it to every family celebration. She tried to attend every wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, graduation and birthday party. She loved her family and we always felt it. She will be terribly missed and we will never forget how she made you feel……..needed and loved!!!
